My 2004 Winnebago Sightseer Bathroom Vanity Mod.

The bathroom vanity came from the factory with only one drawer. Below that drawer ther were holes cut for two more drawers but they were blocked by 1/4 inch ply paneling. Upon removing the top drawer I saw that below it was nothing but empty space. I then knocked out the ply Paneling pieces & discovered that I could put the top drawer in each of the 2 holes. The middle one would be easy & the bottom one would require the toilet to be removed to put a drawer there. The part # for the top drawer was on the bottom of the drawer so I called:
Lichtsinn Motors, Inc.
www.lichtsinn.com
parts@lichtsinn.com
1-800-343-6255 or 1-641-585-3213
and ordered 2 drawers with all the hardware I would need to install them. The drawers would have to be made at the Factory the next time they were making them. I also ask to have them shipped direct to me. I was told that would be no problem & my credit card would charged when the order was complete. The drawers & hardware arrive in 1 large box a few weeks later. I discovered I forgot to order the screws I would need to install the sliding drawer mounts, so I made a trip to the local hardware store for those.
I forgot to take a few pics of what the Drawer area looked like before I added the 2 new drawers.

By adding the 2 drawers it gives you a lot more storage in the bathroom. Total cost of adding the 2 drawers was just a little over $100 & I think it was money well spent. If I am correct the bathrooms on the Winnebago Sightseer & Itasca Sunova modles 26P, 27C, 29R & 30B are all the same & could have the 2 drawres added.
